Shamim has 27+ years in the IT world, spanning many industry sectors and several countries. He leads a team of developers in London and abroad, working on the Mumsnet site and apps. His expertise includes software architecture and development, continuous integration, testing and deployment, hosting, system administration, mobile platforms and site monitoring and optimisations. Shamim’s passion is to improve the efficiency of the development lifecycle and have developers focus on what they’re good at. To this end he’s been putting in place various automated systems and tools everywhere he’s worked from early on in his career, all of which form part of the DevOps role these days.
